Our story

My mother was a woman full of dreams and ambitions. Her life, rich with passion and talent, took an entirely different path after the birth of my youngest sister, Dorothea.

Born with developmental disabilities, Dorothea needed extra care and love. My mother quietly set aside all her own dreams and chose to live as the mother of one special child. She devoted herself entirely to Dorothea instead of caring for herself.

She was always someone who cared for others, yet never cared for herself. Watching her, I promised myself to create skincare for women like my mother.

Rothea was inspired by my mother's unwavering love and named after my sister, Dorothea. For a mother who gave love without limits, I wanted to give that love back.
